The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Welcome to an abbreviated version of my new blog design.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was pretty uneventful.  I’ve been working on my blog design, but as you can see it is still a work in progress.  I think it will take just a few more days to get everything in its proper place.   Stick with me because my next giveaway will take place just in time to roll out the new design.

So, has anybody indulged in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale yet?  If you’re a Nordstrom credit card holder then you got early access to the sale.  Everyone else has to wait until July 17th, which is actually just a few days away.  In my opinion this is the best sale of the year for them.  If you don’t have a Nordstrom store close to you then you must go online.  There are sales in all departments of the store.  However, if you’re like me then you’re looking at the beauty department.  There are definitely some good deals to be had.  I thought I’d share just a few things that I plan to pick up in the next few days.

This limited edition eye shadow palette from MAC is just beautiful.  It’s neutral with a few pops of color all for $85 just like all of the other MAC 15 shadow palettes.

The next item on my wish list is also from MAC Cosmetics.  It’s an interesting Crystal Glaze gloss that you wear over your lipsticks to transform them to an opalescent finish.  I love products like this that can be used in many different ways.  This is from the Giambattista collection that just debuted and the color is called Lena.

I’m a huge fan of the YSL glossy stains.  This exclusive trio is high on my list from the sale.  For $72 you get the three glossy stains along with a gorgeous red cosmetics bag.  I actually need to check my collection of these to make sure I don’t already have any of the colors in this trio.

This isn’t really beauty, but it’s a beautiful product to have.  I LOVE Voluspa candles and these trios come in regular size and minis.  I usually buy these at Nordstrom or Anthropologie.  They have many different fragrances to choose from and they all smell wonderful.

That’s it for me!  Now you know what I’m buying from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (in the beauty department).  I have a feeling that I may indulge on a few clothing items or at least a pair of shoes.  Let me know what you purchased or what you plan to purchase.
