Sunday with Stacie – Volume 11

Happiest Sunday to everyone! Welcome to my Sunday with Stacie post. If you’re in the US, then you’re hopefully enjoying a long holiday weekend. I don’t have any plans for myself. I’m actually working a little bit because it never really ends for me. There’s always something to do when you’re a content creator. But I feel like I’m pretty good at finding a good balance of work, personal fulfillment/family time and chores.

This past week I decided that I was going to clean out my closet and get it organized (once again). I realized that I have too much and that presents a problem. I walk into my closet in the mornings to get dressed and can’t figure out what to wear. Things are crowded and hidden behind each other. I’m one of those people who feels like I don’t have anything to wear. I’ve been watching a lot of fashion stylists on Instagram and I even watched a few sessions from a webinar that I feel like are lighting fuel in my fire to make some changes. I’m working toward putting together capsule wardrobes and being less wasteful.

I shopped just a little bit this week. I went to Loft and found some good pieces that know I can easily put together to create different outfits. And as per usual, after I shopped they announced a great sale of 40% off PLUS and EXTRA 20% off. Hurry and shop as the sale ends today (5/26). So yes, you guessed it, I shopped online to pick up some more things for my capsule wardrobe. This means that I’ll be getting rid of even more from my current unfulfilling closet. I’ll let you know how it goes…

On Saturday night we met friends for dinner which was very nice and we don’t do it often enough. We went to one of our favorite Farm to Table restaurants in Flower Mound called Prime. It was so good. And since I’m a creature of habit, I ordered my favorite Eggplant Parmesan that they offer. So good!  I need to make this at home. I wore one of my new favorite dresses that I bought last month. It’s so pretty on and so simple to wear. It’s on sale now, in case you’re loving it too (so cute with a cropped jean jacket over it as well).
