Oprah’s Favorite Things 2018

Do you get excited to see the Oprah’s Favorite Things list each year? I know that I rely on the coveted list to help me pick out gifts for family, friends and myself for the holidays. As an OMagInsider (brand ambassador for O, The Oprah Magazine), I had a unique opportunity to attend the Oprah’s Favorite Things 2018 reveal in NYC on November 7, 2018. To say that I was excited would be an understatement. It was definitely one of the most exciting events I’ve ever attended.

It was a huge celebration for all of the invitees, including the advertisers in the magazine and some of us OMagInsiders. Gayle King and Adam Glassman did an amazing job at revealing Oprah’s picks.

The entire list is 107 items long this year. The list includes 50 items under $50, so there are so many practical choices for most everyone on your holiday shopping list. I want to mention that there are discount codes for MANY of the products at the manufacturers’ websites that can be found in this issue of the magazine.

We were so lucky to have received some of Oprah’s Favorite Things at the event. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites that were gifted to all of us attendees.

One of my top picks from this year’s list is the new Clarisonic Mia. I’m a long time fan of Clarisonic and have used one as part of my skincare routine for many years. However, the latest release is a game changer. I received one to test out before it was released to the public. This one is “smart.” It actually pairs with your phone and uses an app to completely personalize your experience. If you’re not into that type of thing like I am, you can use it right out of the box. I did a little video about it on my YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure.

Since I’m on the topic of the Clarisonic, I thought I’d share that I’m featured in the December issue of The Oprah Magazine sharing my love for the device. What an honor it was for me to represent the OMagInsiders and my love for Clarisonic. It was a match made in heaven!

The December issue of Oprah Magazine hit newsstands on November 20th, 2018. Go grab your copy or download the digital version. The magazine not only has the Oprah’s Favorite Things, but it also includes a beautiful interview of Michelle Obama talking about her new memoir “Becoming.” I already bought my copy and have started reading it for book club.
