Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Beauty Recommendations

Are you as excited as I am that it’s time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?  I covet the sale catalog when it comes in the mail each year.  I literally study it at length like I’m studying for an important college exam.  I plan my shopping strategy to be sure I can purchase the items that I want before they sell out.  They do restock items throughout the sale so be sure to check back if your favorites are sold out.

The Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift – This is a great anti-aging device that serves as a multitasker.  You can use the attachment massage head to apply to the face as a means of stimulating the facial muscles to give a lifted look.  There are also brush heads included for cleansing.  I highly recommend this device and this sale price is amazing!  My initial blog post on it is HERE.  Regular retail is $349.  Anniversary Sale price is $233.

The Skin Rejuvenating Eye Mask from Iluminage contains copper.  You wear it as you sleep to reduce wrinkles around the eyes.  This is an item that’s been on my wish list that I’m purchasing from the sale.  Regular retail is $35.  Anniversary Sale price is $23.

The LightStim for Wrinkles LED Light is another item that’s in my cart.  This device is FDA-cleared to treat wrinkles on your entire face while working to help smooth skin texture, promote even skin tone and ease undereye puffiness.  I need this one in my life!  I’ve had expensive treatments done at the med spa, but now that I can do it myself at home for a fraction of the price.  Winning!!  Regular retail is $249  Anniversary Sale price is $166.

Now lets look at the fun and colorful stuff…

The Anastasia Mini Lipgloss Set is sure to be a winner for all.  There’s a nice variety of shades in the set.  Makes a great gift or a nice pick-me-up to get you through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

MAC Cosmetics has several value lip and eye sets that are value priced (some are mini size) so you get a lot of bang for your buck  The Baby Be Cool lip set is my favorite because 1. I love pink and 2. The shades can be worn year round.  Sets are $26.50 each.

Your Bestie Nudes Trio is a beautiful set for those of us who like nude lips.  This is a great opportunity to try the Winky Lux brand.  $51 value for only $22.

Chanel has a few moisturizing Glossimer Rouge Coco Gloss Trios in the Anniversary Sale.  They’re special value type sets for $92 each.  I love the Brights and the Nude Mood.

If you’ve wanted to try the Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics line I have a set to tell you about. The Day to Night Lip Set has 2 beautiful shades of lipstick along with a liner.  The set is $60 with a value of $90.

YSL is one of my long time favorite brands for lip products.  They have a Lip Set that includes 3 products in a pretty bag.  Available in pinks and nudes.  Can you guess which one is my favorite?

Trish McEvoy makes one of my all time favorite perfumes and it’s called the Power of Fragrance Set for the Anniversary Sale.  If you like sweet with a touch of fruity scent then you will want this one too.  Notes are: Top: juicy blackberry buds, dark plum, mandarin.  Middle: tiare flower, osmanthus. Base: cashmere woods, crystallized vanilla, velvet musk.  The perfume with atomizer is on sale for $85.50
