Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Review

My eyelashes go through phases…  I love when they’re long and full (doesn’t everyone!) and hate when they’re short and sparse.  I decided to give the Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes from Younique a try.  The product is supposed to “dramatically enhance and magnify the appearance of your own lashes.”  You do a quick and easy three-step process using their Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your own lashes.

I’ve been using this product on and off for several months now.  The retail cost is $29.  You purchase the product from one of the company’s Presenters.  To use the product I first put on my regular mascara.  I then apply the Transplanting Gel followed by a coat of Natural Fibers and followup with one more coat of transplanting gel.  You can continue to the process in the same order if you want to continue to build up longer and fuller looking lashes.  The product is supposed to be water resistant, however it comes off easily with warm water and regular cleansers.

The verdict:  I have mixed feelings about this product.  Some days I get flaking of the mascara, therefore it’s a fail for me.  Other days it works great and I don’t have that problem.  I think the product itself works great at building my lashes and making them look full and adding length.  I’m happy that I tried this product however I probably will not be repurchasing.
