Are you on the hunt for drugstore makeup that has the wow factor? I’m always looking for affordable beauty products that rival luxury ones, especially those that can be easily picked up at drugstores. One of my favorite brands of makeup that’s sold at Walgreens stores is Milani Cosmetics. They have some cult favorites that nearly everyone knows about and loves. These include their baked blushes, matte lip creme, foundation and setting spray. I own quite a few of their products and I’m always impressed with the quality. Milani has a new mascara called the Highly Rated 10-in-1 Volume Mascara that’s packing some punch to my puny eyelashes.
According to the packaging, the mascara has proven results that are making everyone else as happy as it’s making me (*results observed in a consumer panel survey):
- 94% saw doubled lash thickness
- 91% saw dramatic volume in one stroke
- 91% saw instant curl and lift of lashes
The mascara has a plant-based formulation. It protects and conditions your lashes without smudging, flaking or clumping. The brush is quite effective. It has a tapered end so you can easily coat your lashes from root to tip. The brush “combs and separates to volumize and define each and every lash.” I like that I don’t have to apply layer after layer to get more dramatic lashes. One quick swipe is all my lashes need.
The mascara is not too wet, nor too dry from the very first use. It’s easy to build volume and to add a nice amount of length at the same time. It’s perfect for my everyday makeup looks.
The other products pictured above from Milani that I adore are the Amore Matte Lip Creme and the Most Loved Mattes Eyeshadow Palette. The lip cream is non-drying and it lasts FORVER on my lips though meals and drinks. The lip creme is available in over 25 different shades. As always, I go straight for the pinks. The shades in the eyeshadow palette are perfect for putting together both day looks and night looks. Milani eye shadows are highly rated and these palettes are available in many different varieties.

I just recently pulled out a Milani Blush, Rosa Romantica and was wow’d by it again. Really impressed with Milani. They make great products.

An almost waterproof mascara that doesn’t smudge? I’ll have to find a tube of this and try it.
The pros is that they are budgeproof and they don’t smudge when you’re caught in a downpour. As for me, I used to like them.
