There have been several popular fashion trends that have made the waves this year, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends is important. Everyone wants to look their best when they go out and the best way to do that is to keep abreast with the fast changing fashion world. Here are some of the latest and hottest make-up trends.

When it comes to fashion or make-up trends, keeping it bare is always beautiful. However, adding a bit of color on the face sure does enhance things. The recent spring shows offered a plethora of options in regards with colors like green and blue on the eyes and crimson hues on the lips. Spring started with pale lips but then moved on with red. In fact the color red made a big impact in make-up especially at Burberry. One of the popular “red” trends is to use a matte crimson with an outline in red pencil. This simple tip will make your lips look fuller and bigger. You might want to vary that red from pinky-red to classic power red, whatever red you use, it’s going to make a powerful statement.

Metallic Silver Eyeshadow
Go with the new metallic silver shadow look for your eyes. Silver cream eyeshadow make a bold statement by giving you a nice silver shade over the eyelids.

Using a bit of color around the eyes is another big trend this year. You can go with colors like blue, pink, green, etc. You can choose to use it all around the eyes or just along the rim.

If you want to get that “Versace” model look, you can use a subtle metallic gold shadow. Since the gold color is close to the color of your sink it does not give a “jarring” look but instead a nice glistening look..

Another make-up trend making the waves this year is the “grunged-out gaze”. This is the smudged-out look and is amazingly popular among many. Lashes – With lashes bigger is always better. Add a few false lashes and lots of mascara to get that spectacular look. You don’t have to put on any other make-up if you go with the “big lashes” look.

Go with the jewel-tone eye shadow and liner and inky manicure to get noticed. Purple shades are great for redefining the “smoky eye” look.

For lipsticks, your wardrobe should include these three colors; pink, red and burgundy. These are some of the popular lipstick colors making waves this season.
