I adore a well organized work space. This is especially true of my bathroom cabinets, drawers and vanity. I admit that I’m a hoarder of beauty and makeup products. I usually get myself organized and then a few months later everything is a big mess once again.
We had a few rainy and cold days here in Texas this week, so I figured it was the perfect time to stay indoors and get this done. I started off by running into The Container Store and purchasing a set of drawers on wheels. My unit has two shallow top drawers and a deep bottom drawer. These will be used to store my overflow of items. I also purchased many clear boxes with lids to put the items in first. As the sales associate at the Container Store said, “We buy things to organize our organization.”
Let me also take a minute to say that the sales associates at my local store were superb in their customer service skills. They answered every question I had and took extra time to help me. I probably had 5 different ladies ask to help me during my visit there. I’ve even been back to buy a few more containers. I could probably go back every day. LOL! It’s just one of those stores that I love to shop in.

I bought a drawer unit similar to the one pictured above. Mine is shorter since it had to fit under my vanity. However, I had casters put on it so that I could roll it around and move it when needed. I’m in love with it already! It fits so many of my products. I am purging as I go through everything as well, so it’s taking me a little extra time to get everything done.
I have spent a few hours each day to complete this task with many sanity breaks in between. I’m getting there… I will take pictures and film a video when I am finished.
By the way… at this point in time all Elfa products are on sale at 30% off!! Not sure when the sale ends, but I may be going back for more.
