I was in Walmart this week and spotted the brand new line of cosmetics called Flower by Drew Barrymore. I love her, so of course I have high hopes for this endeavor of hers. This line of cosmetics is exclusive to Walmart. Below I ‘m sharing just a few pictures of some of the displays that I saw. This is only the first part of the line. There will be more products added to the stores soon. However, the full line of products can be seen on the Walmart website.
The price point of Flower cosmetics is comparable to other drugstore brands. I only purchased nail polish, lip butter, lip gloss and an eyeliner. I believe that all items are under $14. I’d love to try the cream eye shadows but they were not in my stores yet.

I purchased 2 different nail polish colors. So far I have just used the Cosmos-Politan. It’s a pretty bright pink color. (FYI, the color on the Walmart website is very inaccurate.) I put 2 coats of the polish on along with one coat of UV topcoat (IBD). The polish dried very fast and came out quite shiny. It has a beautiful creamy opaque finish.

What’s the verdict?
I’ve been wearing my Cosmos-Politan for 3 days now. I am very pleasantly surprised by this nail polish. I have had no chipping at all. At $4.98 a bottle, I may have to consider adding many more colors to my collection. I would definitely repurchase this.
After trying more of my new Flower by Drew Barrymore products I will be doing additional reviews. Please watch for those!

I will have to check this out as well had not seen it before. Made in the uSA is a big plus.
I love cosmos-politan but so far not impressed with the wear & tear – totally peels off my nails. I will give it another shot with a different clear base coat & hope that’s the problem because this is my favorite pinky color so far in a very long time!
