Stitch Fix has Upped Their Game

Are you looking to add new clothes to your wardrobe? Has there been a change of season? Or maybe you’re going on vacation and want to find the perfect fitting outfit? Or maybe you’re like me and you simply want something new in your wardrobe. Whatever the case may be, Stitch Fix has some seriously amazing solutions to find the perfect pieces just for you. I’ve gotten some clothes from this online service years ago when my daughter was a stylist for them. I was recently reintroduced to the company and the changes to Stitch Fix are blowing me away. I actually don’t know how long these changes have been around, but I’m really happy that there are several different options.

How does Stitch Fix work?

Let me start by explaining how Stitch Fix works. You simply go to their website and sign up. You take a short style quiz which allows them to know your preferences, sizing, budget and more. You’re then paired with a stylist who can put together items and outfits that she thinks would look good on you. You can then preview the items online before the ‘Fix” is sent to you. This can be fun because a trained stylist is making suggestions for items that you may not have considered for yourself in the past. This is NOT a subscription. You choose if and when you want to get a ‘Fix.” Shipping is free both ways and you can keep and pay for what you like and send back what you don’t like. Therefore, it’s totally risk free!!

What’s the new program called Freestyle about?

Then, there’s another program called Freestyle. For this one, you can pick the items directly yourself that you want. They make recommendations based on your preferences and style input. Or you can simply put the search the types of items you are wanting. An example might be long dresses or cardigans, etc. They’re size inclusive, which includes sizing from XS – 3XL. They even have a section of petite clothing, which makes me very happy.

I recently used Stitch Fix Freestyle to order items for an upcoming vacation. I ordered a pair of pants that were recommended for me and then chose a blazer that looked like something that I think I will get a lot of wear from. I just added a simple top from cabi and a pair of fun clogs that I recently picked up.

I ordered the Liverpool Stella Pull-On Crop Kick Flare Pants in black. I got them in a size 6P (I could’ve worn the size 4P, but I’d never tried pants from the brand. I could have exchanged them for another size, however they were sold out. I’m still thrilled with the pants.

I also ordered the Raja Collarless Blazer from the brand Skies are Blue. I ordered a size medium because I thought it would be better slightly bigger for wearing thicker tops under it. However, the arms were a little too wide for me and the jacket flared out a bit more than I like. Again, I tried to exchange for a smaller size, but it was already sold out at that time. I will just use the credit to purchase something else.
